More Info: The third highest of the Cascade volcanoes also called "Washington's forgotten volcanoe". It is the second most massive volcano of the Cascade range and about one-third larger than Mt. Rainier.
Comment: Saturday - hike to Sunrise Camp (8,300ft) from parking lot in Yakama Indian reservation. Sunday - 4hr climb on the Mazama Glacier over Pikers Peak and False Summit to Mt. Adams Summit.
